In light of the recent case of Maria Shahbaz, parents of vulnerable girls contacted us, seeking assistance from our church to ensure the safety of their daughters, who range in age from 8 to 17 years old. Recognizing the urgency of this situation, our church leadership responded without delay. We crafted a plan to establish a dedicated school for these girls within our current church facility and now this one room school is in operation. Each day, parents bring their daughters to the church at 8 a.m. and pick them up in the evening after work. We provide them with education, a healthy meal each day, and—most importantly—a safe haven within the church, supervised by a caretaker, teachers, and a reliable security team.
